Stronger Than the Struggle was proud to attend and support the UNI Community Resources event in March, and connect with other organizations & individuals helping out in the community.

On March 16th, Stronger Than the Struggle was proud to participate in the CHIRP LA Network Meeting in DTLA. We had an excellent time connecting with other participants and meeting other organizers and volunteers.

An amazing Thanksgiving dinner was had by all at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels! With our team’s hard work, and the amazing support of our volunteers and all the great food they cooked, the meal was enjoyed by all.

For the unhoused, there are a number of important items that can make their situation much more tenable. Stronger Than the Struggle organized a drive to collect those important supplies and distribute them to those in need, in downtown Los Angeles this month.

In the sprawling urban landscape of Los Angeles, amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there exists a beacon of hope and connection for the city's vulnerable and homebound older adults. This beacon is the Los Angeles Phone Banking Initiative, a community service group dedicated to providing social support and companionship through weekly phone calls. A passionate team of volunteers from Stronger Than the Struggle were proud to be part of the lifeline for those who might otherwise feel isolated and forgotten.
